Coronavirus Update (3/12/20) – Hudson Regional Hospital

Open Letter to Hudson Regional Hospital Community

Concerns of the spread and treatment of COVID-19, the coronavirus, have disrupted many lives already and as a community, we need to be vigilant about prevention practices in order to reduce the severity of what now qualifies as a pandemic.

Please be assured that Hudson Regional Hospital has prepared to perform its role in preventing, diagnosing and treating corona both inside the hospital and out.

  • We have counseled educators and public officials on reducing the chance of infection, including distributing hand sanitizer and directly educating children and adults.
  • We have established internal practices and protocols to care for prospective patients
  • We have re-enforced internal processes that prevent infection within the hospital itself

The New Jersey State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control both substantially support hospitals, providing us with information on diagnosing and care practices to assure patients have the best possible outcomes.   We anticipate and are prepared for increases in caseload and to do our part in managing regional healthcare issues.

If you are feeling poorly and have symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath, please contact your healthcare provider or call 911. For more information, please call Coronavirus Call Center at 1-800-222-1222 or visit:
