Bio
Dr. Cortes is a highly respected and accomplished vein doctor and board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist. He has achieved great success in his field and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the John P. Craig, MD, Award for Excellence in Microbiology and Immunology. He has also had the opportunity to train with some of the top experts in vascular disease and embolization therapy.
Dr. Cortes completed his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UNC Hospital Systems – Chapel Hill, where he used minimally invasive procedures to treat numerous pathologic conditions. He is a warm and compassionate doctor who understands the challenges you are facing and will support you every step of the way.
