Bio
Dr. Rajnik Raab is a board-certified neurosurgeon, president of the New Jersey Neurosurgical Society, and has been recognized by fellow physicians as a “Top Doctor” every year since 2013. Routinely, he performs complex spine and brain surgery using minimally invasive techniques with the latest proven technology. He has earned an outstanding reputation for revision spine surgery otherwise known as failed back surgery. It is because of his comfort with complex cases that Dr. Raab can easily and accurately use the most minimally invasive techniques for simple as well as complex cases. This minimizes postoperative pain and significantly reduces recovery time. Dr. Raab also routinely surgically removes tumors from the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. With each of his patients, he takes ample time to compassionately explain the care plan and expected outcomes during this difficult time. Raised in New Jersey, Dr. Raab is a Yale University graduate. He earned his medical doctorate at the State University of New York Health Science Center and he completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is an active member of the American Association of Neurosurgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons as well as the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society for medical professionals. Having earned a highly regarded reputation for adult spine surgery and brain surgery, Dr. Raab operates at centers within Bergen County, Essex County, Hudson County, and Passaic County.
