Bio
Dr. Brendan O’Donovan is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain physician. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures for painful conditions of the cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, peripheral joints, peripheral nerves and more.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo. He then went on to graduate from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed an Anesthesiology residency and Pain Medicine fellowship at the University of Massachusetts- Baystate Health. Here, Dr. O’Donovan excelled both clinically and academically and scored in the top 10% in the country on his Anesthesiology board exam.
Dr. O’Donovan treats a wide array of conditions including neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, failed back surgical syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, headaches, arthritis, compression fractures and more. He is a compassionate physician and treats all of his patients like his own family. He is active in the medical community and attends pain conferences both locally and nationally. He is an active member of multiple societies including the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, the North American Neuromodulation Society and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
