Bio
Dr. Pierce is committed to providing the safest and highest quality care in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
After graduating among the top his medical school class, Dr. Pierce went on to train at some of the country’s premier institutions. He initially received a master’s degree in public health from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, where he researched health care quality and its effect on current trends in the delivery of care. He then went on to complete five years of general surgery training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Prior to joining East Coast Plastic Surgery, Dr. Pierce completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Pierce is trained in the latest techniques in plastic surgery, and has a specific interest in facial aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He has several publications in national plastic surgery journals and has spoken at numerous national meetings. Dr. Pierce began volunteering on medical mission trips aimed at cleft lip and palate reconstruction early in his career and continues to do so today.
