Dr. Saitas is the Director of Pathology at Hudson Regional Hospital.
Vasiliki L. Saitas, MD, FCAP is board certified in Anatomic/ Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.
A graduate of Athens University Medical School in Athens, Greece, Dr. Saitas completed her residency in pathology at New York City’s St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she was selected to serve as chief resident. She then completed fellowships in both surgical pathology and cytopathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
A Fellow / Inspector of the College of American Pathologists, Dr. Saitas is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society of Cytopathology, the International Academy of Cytology, and the Bergen County Medical Society, among other professional organizations. A New York City native who is fluent in English and Greek, Dr. Saitas is also a past president of the Hellenic Health Professionals of New Jersey.
