Everyone did a good job. Everybody was kind to me. I never stayed in a hospital overnight before and I enjoyed my stay, pain and all.

Everyone did a good job. Everybody was kind to me. I never stayed in a hospital overnight before and I enjoyed my stay, pain and all. The food was excellent. Good quality and quantity, delicious! The best and prettiest nurses! I can't describe how nice the nurses were to me. Outstanding treatment in the ICU area. They waited on me like a king! I would go back there if I could choose! Nurses were (rated) 10+. Everybody was so nice to me. Best hospital! Great surgeon, Dr. Marc Cohen. I had the best surgeon bar none! What more can I say!
Toni Descalzi in Same Day Surgery was awesome and efficient. He explained everything and was super sweet. Nurses Maureen McGroarty and Evelyn Balangue, in ICU treated me with such care as if I was family. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The Food Service staff were very pleasant and polite. From start to discharge, everyone I came in contact with treated me with respect and as if I was the only person there! Best hospital ever!

Ayana Patterson and Nadine Delouise (from Food Service) went above and beyond with their service. All the nurses were fantastic, from the ER to ICU to Telemetry, especially Maureen McGroarty, Tina Borgonos, Connie Valiente, Stephanie Mateiro, Calude Macaluso, Lori Haywood, Clara Fleites-Guerra, Chelline Lichtenberger, and nurse assistant Nicole Carter. Hopefully, I didn't forget anyone, all were great. Please recognize anyone who took care of me. Melanie Dross from CAT scan was caring and fantastic. I loved all of the doctors, Morris Bellifemine, Jenny Cam, Mary Abed, and Anthony Mangia. I also loved Manny Ramos from Physical Therapy and please recognize Josh Siman from Transport who does everything and goes the extra mile. Renato Lampano the nurse's aide was also very helpful.
Hello
I arrived at your hospital on July 9th at 6 am. A dead man walking. After making it to the ER I had the pleasure of being greeted by Miss Billy Jean, who was there to offer me assistance. She helped me to the bathroom and offered to help me when I soiled my clothing.
Soon she told me that I was going to need emergency surgery. I thought surgery, this can't be for me, I'm here for severe diarrhea. I then met the man that would save my life, Dr. Popovich. He said I had Intussusception of the bowel.
At 6 pm I was sent to surgery, to awake later in the ICU/CCU. When I woke up I had the pleasure of meeting the most amazing hospital staff, Domingo; I call him The Saint.
This was my first surgery and first time taking morphine. I was in pain and full of morphine and I thought I was losing my mind. Domingo was very caring and patient with me. He stayed so calm, and in control. Days & nights ran together.
In addition, Evelyn, Dalia, Cindy, Eloisa, Ashley, Kara, and Connie, provided me with excellent care and made me feel like family. They all have excellent bedside manner and were always there immediately when I needed assistance.
I just had my drain tube removed, when I started having pressure in my stomach. Cindy said she needed to put it back in. I said, “are you crazy?”. Less than an hour later she put the tube back in, and I started losing pressure in my stomach.
Eloisa washed my hair, with a new shower shampoo cap, it was amazing. She was very quiet but very focused on her work. She was the best wound care cleaner I've had.
I’m so happy to have been able to witness this care first hand.
