Alyssa Blum is an exceptional leader and the Director of Behavioral Health at Hudson Regional Hospital, where she oversees Umbrella Care Academy. As the head of our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for individuals with autism, Alyssa brings 17 years of experience in the field of ABA, making her an invaluable asset to our team of professionals.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Montclair State University, Alyssa began her career working one-on-one with individuals with autism in-home and within private schools. She continued her education and received a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, achieving Board Certified Behavior Analyst status.
Alyssa’s expertise in behavior analysis is unparalleled, and she has made significant contributions to the field as a published author in the Journal of Education and Treatment of Children (August 2010).
