Bio
Angel Chinea Vicente, MD is an American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) eligible neurosurgeon. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Chinea moved to Florida after finishing high school. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tampa and subsequently obtained his medical degree from FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, FL. Dr. Chinea then completed neurosurgery residency at the University of South Florida, during which time he undertook an enfolded fellowship in spinal deformity and complex spine surgery.
Dr. Chinea cares for patients with a broad range of disorders involving the brain and spine. He specializes in the treatment of adult degenerative and complex spinal conditions including revision surgery, deformity correction, spinal tumors, and trauma. Dr Chinea is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through personalized care and patient education, working closely with each individual to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving their quality of life
