Bio
Dr. Daniel Feghhi is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive operative treatment of sports related injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. He also specializes in shoulder, hip, and knee replacements, with additional certification in minimally-invasive robotic-assisted surgery.
Having undergone many orthopedic procedures, Dr. Feghhi understands the patient experience and strives to restore an active lifestyle.
Dr. Feghhi completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. He graduated with highest honors, was induced into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society and earned the Biological Excellence award.
Dr. Feghhi earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. During his advanced sports fellowship program at the University of South Florida/Florida Orthopedic Institute, Dr. Feghhi assisted in the care of professional, collegiate, and top-tier high school teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has also received specialized orthopedic training from a number of the nation’s top medical centers, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Feghhi is a NJ native, born and raised in Clifton. He played soccer and lacrosse at Clifton High School. At Rutgers, he continued playing soccer, but several sports injuries and surgeries led him to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery. He came to the realization that professional athletics was not in his future and he would rather treat athletes instead.
In his spare time, Dr. Feghhi enjoys spending time with his family, fitness and outdoor activities.
Dr. Feghhi has been published in numerous journals and given presentations at national professional conferences. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
