Bio
Harry G. Kapralos, Esq., is the Chief Legal Officer and Compliance Officer for Hudson Regional Hospital, a member of the President & CEO’s senior management team, and legal advisor to the Board of Directors of HRH. An astute executive that pragmatically manages legal risk, Mr. Kapralos represents and directs the representation of HRH, its subsidiaries, and affiliates in all legal and compliance matters, labor and employment issues, and risk management.
With over two decades of experience in corporate law, health care law, mergers & acquisitions, and non-profit law, Mr. Kapralos has a unique combination of legal expertise, industry knowledge, strong and tested judgment, and financial and business acumen. Mr. Kapralos provides strategic and innovative advice with a clear understanding of HRH’s goals, and has repeatedly demonstrated executive leadership, a pragmatic approach, and the ability to identify and analyze the business consequences of his legal advice. He understands the importance of building a bridge between strategic initiatives and risk management, and makes effective, productive decisions aligning business objectives with legal, compliance, and risk management issues.

Prior to joining Hudson Regional Hospital in 2020, Mr. Kapralos was a senior attorney at a nationally recognized boutique health law firm; a prominent New Jersey firm; and a publicly traded national provider of specialty pharmaceuticals and infusion services, and manager of hospital outpatient facilities. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kapralos worked in public accounting where he provided accounting, auditing, financial, and tax advice to mid-market clients. Through this experience, Mr. Kapralos gained a deep understanding of key business concepts such as finance, accounting, strategic initiatives, and other business activities. His broad experience, knowledge, and judgment have proven invaluable to HRH.
