Bio

Dr. Itani is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon. He did his internship in surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore MD and completed his residency training in general surgery at Downstate – SUNY at Brooklyn. He then pursued a dedicated vascular surgery fellowship for 2 years at the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Itani is Board certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Itani is a member of the American College of Phlebology, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and a candidate member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. He has contributed to and authored several publications in the medical field and has given medical presentations on vascular surgery across the country and abroad. Dr. Itani is also a registered vascular technologist certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is proficient in the application of ultrasound technology.

Dr. Itani was in practice in West Palm Beach, FL prior to moving back to NJ. “Moving to New Jersey was the best thing for my wife and kids, where they get to be close to family. I feel that this area has a lot to offer in regards to family values as well as schooling and education. So when people ask me ‘why did you leave sunny West Palm Beach?,’ I think I do have a convincing answer,” Dr Itani says.
