Bio
Michael Warhit, MD, is a double board-certified diagnostic and vascular/interventional radiologist. He has extensive experience and expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.
Dr. Warhit graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University and earned his doctorate of medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed the integrated interventional radiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center as the first graduate of the program.
Dr. Warhit is a well-regarded mentor for interventional radiology trainees and takes tremendous pride in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and is involved in research projects advancing the field of vascular and interventional medicine.Â
Dr. Warhit has extensive experience with complex arterial and venous disease and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), a nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedure to treat fibroids. In addition, his practice focuses on interventional oncology, which includes trans arterial chemoembolization (TACE), radioembolization (Y-90), and percutaneous ablations, among many other procedures.
