Dr. Kang is a foot and ankle surgeon at North American Spine and pain institute. Dr. Kang is specialized in sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive surgeries of foot and ankle. She is board qualified for surgeries by the American Board of Foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Kang completed her surgical residency at Hoboken University Medical Center and extensively trained in foot and ankle trauma and deformities including reconstruction of the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle deformities. She received her doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kang holds certifications from Arthroscopy Associated of North America (AANA), Comprehensive internal Fixation /Reconstructive surgery of the Foot and Ankle (AAFAO), and Extremity Fixation for trauma, Limb Deformity and foot & ankle Reconstruction surgery (Orthofix). She has published a Scientific review for Managing Missed Lower-Extremity Compartment Syndrome in the Physiologically Stable patient (ACFAS, 2017).
