Bio
Dr. Vinoo Thomas joins the staff of Hudson Regional Hospital in Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Thomas has recently joined IGEA Brain, Spine, and Orthopedics after 12 years of private practice in Manhattan. Dr. Thomas practice consists of treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar pathology of the spine employing treatment modalities from epidural steroid injections to endoscopic discectomies and rhizotomies. He is currently clinical assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center where he still teaches the pain management fellows. He is a graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill hospital in surgery, his anesthesiology residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and his pain management fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Systems. He has been named Castle Connolly Top doctor New York metro area from 2014 to the present. He has been included in New York Magazine’s top doctor issue 4 times, in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021.
