Bio

Vwaire Orhurhu, MD, MPH, is an interventional pain physician and anesthesiologist. He completed his medical training at Mayo Medical School, completed his residencies at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School (Anesthesiology). He subsequently completed his chronic pain fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Orhurhu has a master’s in public health from Harvard University School of Public Health.

He is very vast in clinical research, diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions. He has published over 160 peer reviewed research articles. His research interests includes: healthcare economics, value based care, shared decision making, and the application of quantitative research methods in government, healthcare institutions and private industries. Dr. Orhurhu’s research activities have been accepted into highly regarded journals such as JAMA Surgery, Anesthesia and Analgesia, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, The Spine Journal, Neurology Neuroimmunology & Neuroinflammation, Neuromodulation and others.
