This past Saturday, Hudson Regional Hospital was proud to host free childbirth classes for expecting mothers in the Northern New Jersey and Hudson County area.
Hosted by the OB department, Janine Malave, manager maternal child health services/program director, Chelline Lichtenberger and Krystal Melendez, life coach, this eight-hour class educated expecting mothers and fathers on a wide range of topics including the labor and birth process, breathing and relaxation techniques, proper diet and exercise, postpartum care, and breastfeeding.
These classes are offered 100% free every second Saturday of the month at Hudson Regional Hospital GME Room.
