Hudson Regional Hospital is proud of its pulmonary care services. Many area hospitals and physicians rely on HRH’s pulmonary services to transition medically complex patients from ventilator dependency. We provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic services, inpatient, outpatient and emergency services for patients of all ages. Our unit accepts patients from throughout northern New Jersey and from hospitals in New York City.
Our goal is to provide each patient with a high degree of service through an integrated healthcare delivery system, combined with a multidisciplinary approach. Most importantly, our unit is an acute Ventilator Weaning unit, where the Respiratory Therapists work under strict weaning protocols with the Pulmonologist MDs. Weaning is done every day when we can keep the patient motivated, involved and no other health issues arise. Our pulmonary unit runs very well due to the close relationship between the doctors, respiratory therapists, manager, nurses, CNAs and the Ancillary services who give our patients the very best of care and compassion.
